Terms and Conditions:
#FiledwithTaxMe Campaign
(March 2026)
By participating in the #FiledwithTaxMe campaign ("the Campaign"), you ("the Participant") agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
1.1. The Campaign is open to all registered users of the TaxMe mobile application.
1.2. Participants must have a completed Tax Profile within the app to act as a referrer or to be eligible for prizes.
1.3. Employees of TaxMe, their immediate family members, and any agencies associated with this Campaign are ineligible to participate.
2. Campaign Period
2.1. The Campaign begins at 00:00 (GMT+8) on March 1, 2026, and ends at 23:59 (GMT+8) on March 31, 2026.
2.2. Any tasks completed outside of this period will not be considered for the prize draw.
3. Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the prize draw, a Participant must complete both of the following tasks:
Task A: Invite a Friend (Referral)
The Participant must refer a new user to TaxMe using their unique Referral Code.
The referral is considered complete only after the new user:
Downloads the TaxMe app.
Completes their full Tax Profile.
Successfully enters the Participant's Referral Code in the app.
One referral counts as a task completion. Multiple referrals after the first referral will be counted as multiple entries to the draw as specified by TaxMe.
Task B: Instagram Social Share
The Participant must share the official TaxMe campaign post to their Instagram Story.
The Story must include:
The hashtag #FiledwithTaxMe.
A tag to the official account @trytaxme.
The Participant's unique Referral Code clearly visible.
The Participant’s Instagram profile must be set to "Public" for the duration of the campaign to allow for manual verification by the TaxMe Admin team.
4. Prizes and Winner Selection
4.1. The prize consists of one (1) RM20 Touch ‘n Go (TnG) e-Wallet Gift Card per winner.
4.2. There will be a total of 50 winners selected at random from the pool of eligible participants who have completed both tasks.
4.3. Winners will be notified via the email address linked to their TaxMe account.
4.4. To claim the prize, winners must complete a Google Form provided in the winner's email with their valid TnG-linked phone number. Failure to provide this within seven (7) days of notification may result in forfeiture of the prize.
5. Disqualification and Foul Play
5.1. TaxMe reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant and/or revoke any winnings if "foul play" is suspected. This includes, but is not limited to:
Creation of "fake" or duplicate accounts to farm referrals.
Use of automated scripts or bots.
Tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Campaign. 5.2. Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Campaign is a violation of these terms.
6. Data Privacy and Protection
6.1. Any contact details collected (Email, Phone Number, Instagram Handle) will be used exclusively for the following purposes:
Verifying task completion and eligibility.
Distributing prizes and managing campaign communications.
Performing necessary due diligence and internal reporting for the Campaign. 6.2. TaxMe will not sell or share Participant data with third parties for marketing purposes. All data handling will comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
7. General Conditions
7.1. TaxMe reserves the right to amend, shorten, or extend the Campaign Period or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
7.2. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other credits.
7.3. By participating, you grant TaxMe the right to use your Instagram handle/username for winner announcement purposes on social media.
